Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Could anyone please offer some hints for these two questions:

No.72 One building giving shelter to fox very old elephant-like beast (8) The obvious answer does not fit with the main part of the clue.

No.87 It has tufted ears and ten appeared around the Kent area (8)

72 someone who builds + 3 letter word for "to fox".
I suspect you may already have the 8 letter word.

Look at your answer to question 10 and add two letters

87 involves answer for Q10 plus abbreviation for where Kent is.

You're right Fibonacci - I did have that answer but I don't think i would have worked out how to parse it - many thanks.

I'd also come out with that animal with tufted ears but again, couldn't see how it fitted the rest of the clue.
So grateful to you both.
