Good morning everyone - and the lovely weather continues…..I’m sorry for others in this country who are either being washed away or frizzled …..we’ll just be happy to see some ordinary rain :))
As for the links ….think there might be some overloads there…
GOLD
FRUIT
BELL
NATURE
As always, everyone is very welcome to join in - just be sure to post your entry before midnight Sunday and after posting, please check to see your entry does appear.
Sorry to say, one of our family won’t be with us this weekend- Mamya is in hospital and we send all our love and very best wishes for a speedy recovery and return to our midst …..
So Good Luck to Us All and let’s get the party started …..

No best answer has yet been selected by seekeerz. Once a best answer has been selected, it will be shown here.
For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.QC: I've been doing it for years (without much success, I might add!) but I still don't really understand it!
Using last week as an example though, around midnight UK time every Friday night, Seekeerz (a.k.a. Steff, who is in Australia), posts four clues from what I believe to be the (British) Daily Telegraph crossword that is due to hit the news stands on Saturday morning, with people here then rushing to be the first to find the right answers:

Those four words then form a sort of puzzle, where people have to guess other words which might come before or after them, that Steff posts a bit further into the night (with a deadline of midnight Sunday, UK time, for answering):
https:/ /www.th eanswer bank.co .uk/Qui zzes-an d-Puzzl es/Ques tion178 8505.ht ml
When the answers are published in the DT, Steff then tells us what they were and uses a scoring system (which I've never been able to fathom!) to award points to each contestant. She then totals them up at the end of each month, so that we can see who's won. (It's not necessary to play every week though):

The whole thing is known as the 'KM Links Game' but, despite asking several times, I've never found out what 'KM' stands for!
Baffled? That just makes two of us then!

Just goes to show …..we’re all nuts !! (but very nice with it !!)
Thanks Chris …a very succinct description of what goes on in the wee small hours :))
Btw….KM stands for Kate Mepham, who sets the GK crosswords, initially it was M M for her father, and after he passed away, Kate picked up the reins, so to speak, and I know for a fact, she occasionally looks in to see what we’re up to….poor girl !!
All the best, Kate, if you do happen to read this, you keep the grey cells ticking over nicely, so thanks.
