The K M Links Game - May 2022 Week 2 Results
13 Answers
Good morning everyone - it’s been a blustery weekend, but still not a lot of rain, quite happy to stay put inside and do some puzzles, but not cold enough to light the fire …..a winter pleasure yet to come :))
Now for the links ….hmmm !!
Plate Rack
Grid Lock
Moon Shot
Wood Stock
And the STAR TURN came from ANGLER57 who collected the 2 Bonus Points for his Moon Shot plus 3 for two correct matches for a total of 5 ….way to go, mate !!
ABI77 picked up 3 points for two correct matches, and the rest collected a single point in their Grid Locks.
So the midway LEADERBOARD looks like this…
5 points - angler57
4 points - Arksided & Rose Maybud.
3 points -ABI77
2 points - 8 players
1 point - 15 players
Still two weeks to go, so plenty of time for an onslaught before the end of the month, …Congratulations to all the points scorers so far, and till next time, take care and stay safe, Cheers Steff xx

I'm actually feeling bonza today really. I spent Sunday afternoon having a nice pub lunch (with a friend who was paying the bill, which always helps my mood!) in a beautiful village, followed by touring around eight lovely gardens in said village.
I hope that all is well for you down under.

Hi again, Seekeerz.
The village we went to was Linton, on the Cambridgeshire/Suffolk border. It's quintessentially English, being full of thatched cottages and half-timbered houses, with loads of greenery. Pictures here:

We ate here:

and then explored the gardens mentioned here:

(It was a single afternoon event, from 2pm to 6pm, which is why there are no opening times shown on that page now).
We're hoping to get to Little Baddow, in Essex, next Saturday to see another 15 gardens. Details here:

Thanks, Steff.
Here are some pictures that I took at another multi-garden event, just up the road from where I live, a few year ago:

The guy in the first few pics is the comedian Roy Hudd, who was presenting the prizes that day. There was also a competition for the best scarecrows, which hopefully explains some of the rather odder pictures there ;-)
