This crossword is a pig!!!

Anyone got 8 across

""true, fish is a rare find in a hot mineral spring"

Ive got R?A??R

I think the 4th lettter may be G, which would make it r?a?g?r

I had "sparger" before which fitted in with hot mineral spring and fish but not with real.

Then I worked out 8d as RESURRECT

I refuse to give up. but am prepared to accept help!!

Im pretty close apart from this clue.

Thanking you in anticipation.

Realgar
Hi johnnyw the true part could be "real" the fish could be "garfish" giving you "reagar" dont know if this is right but im sure i will be corrected if not.dont know about the hot mineral spring part though.

You lot are brilliant!!!!
Jonny - 'Realgar' is defined as 'a rare soft orange mineral consisting of arsenic sulphide; an important ore of arsenic'. It is found in hot spring deposits and of course 'gar' is the fish, so all words are accounted for! Good Luck! ja

I think you'll find that 8d is resurgent,(to rise again).

RESt is cut short and instant is URGENT.

PS: Your positive attitude is refreshing. Keep on trying.
