I have Greenland more as a gut feeling than anything else.

Libya....................minimal...................9

Vanuatu...................Nil......................110

so why are we all going for Greenland? Is it simply because there is little to choose from for the fear of snow (and annually more snow melts than thaws due to global warming) and it has the least amount of languages? If you were more afraid of snow than languages wouldn't Libya be better?

mmmmmmmmmm maybe I answered it myself! If more snow melts than falls every year then it would be quite a good place to go to if you don't like snow!

I'm still pondering this one.
If xenoglossophobia is the fear of foreign languages I'm assuming the individual would have the biggest problem with countries where the least English is spoken. As a percentage of the population this must be Libya? It also snows here but nowhere near as much as Greenland. Ho hum

Can see where you're coming from compintone but disagree. English is probably more widely spoken in Libya than Greenland. So even if you're argument about English is correct then right answer is still Greenland. English is also widely spoken (and an Official language) in Vanuatu.

I follow your logic Rumrat and will go with that answer but I've still a niggle that we are missing something.

6 is Wroclaw. Can be googled easily.

I guess so, but Wroclaw Millenium bridge opened in 2004, 'not this year' and none of the descriptions of the painting, including the city's own web site, give the length as long as 400 feet. It is variously described as 114m, 115m and 120 m (which is pretty close I suppose). I can't find a better answer so I'll go with this. Cheers.
