Santa very kindly put a pound coin in my Christmas Pudding this year. It's a 2005 coin with a bridge on the reverse. Which bridge is it?

The Menai Strait Bridge is the Design on the reverse of the 2005 Pattern 1 Coin
The Forth Railway Bridge!

Menai Bridge is correct. (Forth Bridge was 2004)

Yes, johnalex is correct, I jumped the gun, probably because I deal with thousands of 1 coins in my job, and for some reason there seems to be a lot more with the Forth bridge on! I gather the Royal Mint is going through the four home countries and will feature the egyptian bridge in Northern Ireland next year, and then the Millennium Bridge in Gateshead , England in 2007, thus covering all four countries! Very interesting concept, expect you can buy the whole set, at a price!!

Thanks for the answers. Where's the Egyptian bridge in Northern Ireland?
Sorry campbellking, should have been more specific! It is on the Dublin-Belfast railway line, and is quite a thing to see! It was designed by Sir John Mc.Neill, and who would have thought of Egypt in Ireland. Anyway, you will see it on the coins next year. Happy holiday!
