An impossible question to answer as it depends how fast you drive and walk. However, say you drive at 30mph and walk at 3mph, then the walk will take 10x as long - 40 minutes.

Thanks Salty, an approximate answer was all that was required. I was tyring to explain this to my neighbout here at work!!

but it will be quicker to use the footbridge. A walker does not have to follow the same route a car takes.
