Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Struggling with this one. Can anyone help please?

Rearrange the numbers 1 to 10 so that the addition of every adjacent pair of numbers is a triangle number.

The triangle numbers are 1 3 6 10 15 (then 21 but thats to big)

Yes, I think that's what it means

Yours even meets the other rule that not only do first and second got to add up to a triangle number, but the second and third, then 3rd and 4th and so on

Just to say, those are the only solutions -- though, if you throw in 11 as well, you can find two unique ones:

11 10 5 1 9 6 4 2 8 7 3
and
9 6 4 11 10 5 1 2 8 7 3

Looks like it gets more fun when you add 12 as well (for, perhaps, a loose definition of "fun").
