For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Quizsetter19 - on your quizzes, do you specifically ask that responders don't use the Net? If not, please imagine that it's not really any different when asking here (for example) than asking those sat around you at home.
I *do* understand that seeing your Q's posted soon after you've set the quiz is out of order, though one must remember that there are folk that seem to need to finish a quiz asap - reasons for which might abound, it's not for us to say.
AB rules are that we're a Q&A site & even though a setter might specifically state "No asking..." (or some such), it's still down to the person with an answer whether to post it or not.
The question of answering - or not - quizzes has long been a bone of contention here. Each person has to consider whether or not their answer is absolutely needed (closing date might apply here), or if they simply want to post their thoughts, trying to help.
I rarely answer quiz Q's as I've no desire to upset anyone. I will say that if that the person asking includes the full details of the quiz *along with* any requests by the setter, then it remains in the conscience of the person answering whether to do so or not.
This argument will never be solved to the satisfaction of all, I think we just have to muddle through, day by day.
Sorry, that was my bit :-)
