ST Travel Quiz
Q9 Richard Halliburton paid only 36 cents to cross Panama Canal - what was he crossing the canal in? I'm puzzled at the word "in" as I thought he swam across as opposed to being "in" something. Any thoughts please?
Q11c Think pie-eaters refer to people of Wigan, but is Wigan a city?
Been away so only just caught up with this quiz. Thanks for any help with above.

9 - it has been posted that he had to register himself as the SS Halliburton to swim through.
