we don't have a Mistral like France does because we are not a big enough landmass to have a particular kind of wind on a regular basis.

In North America they have one called the 'Chinook', I believe. Comes on to the plains from the Rockies. The Americans named their helicopter after it.

the answer is prevailing................lol again..we have quite normal wind in england.!!!...depending on how many beans we eat.................
