That's interesting Barry because I never get a high score even if I make all the right moves, and I've never been able to work out why that is. Very strange.

I think you can make the right moves in the wrong way.  If there is 2 or 3 letters the same you could pick the one that means you have to make another move because you swapped with the 'wrong' letter.  

I really must plan better before making the first move

I think that's what I am doing but I can't figure out which is the right way!.

Or as Morecambe and Wise might say, all the right moves but not necessarily in the right order.
