Do not think there WAS a prophet beginning with J who predicted the plagues. The answer has to be Moses.

Joseph wasn't a prophet but Joel certainly was, albeit a minor one, and all three of his chapters concentrate on the plague of locusts consuming the land, destroying crops etc. In OT times it was used as a warning of what would happen if God's people turned away from him.

At the moment I cannot think of any other one beginning with J who had a thing about locusts.
