The answers will be be published in the next hour or so, but what did other puzzlers get for the answer to the second question?:

The subtle clues of 'bluebottle' and 'goon' made getting the answer to the first question pretty easy, so the 'populous island' is obviously Portsea. The '18th-century installation' in the south-eastern corner would therefore appear to be Fort Cumberland, but other statements in the puzzle make me think that this may not be right.

I had Fort Cumberland couldn't see what else it could be
