Another TV favourite in the wrong spotlight.  I enjoyed his programmes until he teamed up with Gordon Ramsay.

Pathetic

This country has lost the plot.

Its probably innocent locker room chat.

Pity it couldn't have been sorted out years ago. Someone should have told him to shut his dirty mouth. He took it too far and was allowed to get away with it. I've never personally  took to him. I believe these women 100%

Patsy33,

When he was on celebrity juice or the morning programmes I thought he was a complete idiot.

But on Family fortunes I thought he was great.

I think we are in the height of cancel culture, but its spreading like a cancer, and before long there won't be any presenters left.

This country isn't happy unless its destroying someone.

Its pure jealousy is what it is.

We can't stand to see someone become successful.

I was unaware of his existence before this...

Question Author

It was his cookery programmes, many filmed in scenic Italian locations, which made him as well as his some twenty recipe books.

I think you're right, Quenched. The powers that be in TV, seem to build them up then knock them down! If they were that concerned about certain celebrities behaviour/vile talk with women, it should have been nipped in the bud. Is it about saving money, as well as jealousy?? It's horrible what's happening.

That's the trouble.....

The popularity/ratings-uptick of any given presenter usually means that things are left-to-lie rather than nipped in the bud.

And it is not until the complaints reach critical mass that the bosses decide to take any action. At which point it looks like an orchestrated 'pile on' of complaints when, actually, most of the complaints have been lingering in the background for years.

//And it is not until the complaints reach critical mass//

Er - get the attention of the media? (maybe on a slow day)

I think he's still on U&yesterday if you want to watch him...

These T.V bosses have a lot to answer for. You make some good points, Jack.
