Seems to be on the up lately. My Daughter & 9 year old Granddaughter,  both have glandular fever. It just wipes all your energy. She was told by friend, her cousin, who's a doctor and his two children have it. Also have heard & read others too have it. I did read there has been an increase in the UK. Just a heads up everyone.

I've not heard glandular fever mentioned in ages. I remember my then mother in law having it over 30 years ago. She was old to be having it.

That's right Pasta. That's why I though I'd mention it. It used to be called 'The Kissing Disease' It was usually teenagers that got it. Like you, I haven't heard of a case for ages. My poor little Granddaughter is wiped out with it. She's usually so very active. Now my daughter is getting blood test as she feels unwell.

My husband had that some years ago.  So swollen he looked like he had someone else's head on.   Nasty illness.
