4. is D, which is from the Loire, not A as previously suggested.
I thought No 1 was a Belgian detective!!!!
Mea Culpa!!! Of course you are right petal (are you a Geordie, by any chance?). The Pouilly Fume is the correct answer (4.d) as the Pouilly Fussie is a Macconais white from the Burgundy region. Sorry about that and, hope my original answer was not too irredemable for 08012006.
