Little television is a TV;
has nothing ie. zero = 0 = o (letter o)

Altogether is TVO or Tractor Vaporising Oil a post-war paraffin-based fuel.

(though that is 10 letters. There could be some confusion of the spelling of 'vaporising' as it is derived from vapour in English, but vapor in US English)

You are brilliant! Thanks very much.

I got TV and O for the nothing but it did not mean anything to me.

vapourising in the UK is 11 letters so that is great.
