wwi?
Did anyone do the "live" Where Was I? puzzle in August? I have just been given a copy that was "set aside" for me when I was away on holiday and then forgotten until this afternoon.
Vincent Crump the compiler says, "Google can't help you now." Does that I mean that I shouldn't bother then?
Shaney, my dear, help!

Yes, Mr Crump is given credit for this bigger WWI? from August 14th I think it was, but whether he also does the weekly one I dont know.
The first question takes us to Marlow and the Millennium Maze in Higginson Park. and asks that we count the stripes on a Viking sail, soldiers on parade and rowers on the river. Tough! (Wouldnt you just love to get on your bike perhaps and pop over?!!)
There are eight more realling challenging looking questions but I have yet to look closely at the text. The winner -and his or her best friend- won a two-week trip to the Far East - that's OK , I've been to South Ockendon.
Ah well, something else to keep me out of kitchen -the Boss is delighted!!
G'night.
Something to be going on with.
Sorry I got my Finlands mixed up with my Icelands!! Feels like Iceland here at the moment. !!
Goodnight to you.
00.26!!! It's not everyone who helps fellow-puzzlers in the middle of the night. Although, if I may boast, I was up this morning as early as 25 to 10 to read your suggested site. Thanks a lot Shaney.
I could guess twelve stripes (6 red, 6 white) on a Viking ship and 4 rowers on the river, but of the soldiers on parade: naught. zero, zilch, nuffink. And, as I say. another 7 toughies follow.
If you enter Vincent Crump + Treasure Hunt Special you may find the quiz -along with two other, the Peak District (which has already been brilliantly done online by someone who Shoots Parrots) and the Scottish Borders- and where I am - and indeed where I am very likely to remain,
Yours Truly!
