Pay no attention to the rude comments gleno 1.This is just the self appointed AB police mouthing off as usual .They are only crossword questions and answers . It's not as if we are writing a dissertation on nuclear physics.

May I point out the split infinitive in martinrowley's remark? So much for pointing out the mistakes of others!

Good luck gleno 1and keep trying.

Good luck gleno1 and keep trying!

I won the FT xword a couple of years ago, entered again two weeks later and suspected (wrongly) they may not give me the prize again in the unlikely event I won. So I entered in my Mum's name and she won - now has her name framed on the pink paper in her house :-)
Well done Misstoddler - I never enter crosswords in my own name, always in my Dad's (in his memory). Won three times this way, 2xExpress + News of The World. Like to see his name in print . . .
There is no infinitive (split or otherwise) in martinrowley's answer, even though Kan 16 has pointed it out twice!
What a lovely idea Johnalex! I have just one left to complete from the weekend so I'll enter it in my late dad's name too.... :-)
