On the BBCs page reprting on the death of John Junkin they say that five years ago he appeared in EastEnders as a stranger entering the Vic. I have always liked John Junkin but for the life of me I cannot recall him appearing in EE although I must have seen it. Can anyone jog my memory?

He also played one of Else Tanners many nocturnal visitors in Coronation Street many years ago.

I don't watch the soaps so I wouldn't know but a very funny quote of his was given on the radio a couple of days ago. He had appeared in a series 'Law & Order' and he was telling his family that the only BAFTA award he was likely to get would if there was a category for "My God, I thought he was dead." His daughter burst out laughing and he said: "It's not that funny." She replied; "I was at a friend's when the programme came on and her mother said -'my God, I thought he was dead!'"
