Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

The whole point off answerbank is to help each other so could you put the question number e.g. 5D on your postings, this would help others who are doing the same xword and please try and pot all your clues in a single post as requested by AB

Actually I disagree, at least partly, about the question number. The most annoying posts are those that just say eg RT 5D, with no clue and no letters given.

It's perfectly possible to solve a clue without having the crossword in front of you - if you just say 5D you are cutting down dramatically the number of people who may be able to help. If you give the clue and letters anyone can help - they don't need to know where it is in the puzzle.

Agree about the single posts.

I agree dzug but if the number and clue are both there it could help someone else doing the same xword if they just have the clue they won't know where it fits in. agree?

It is also better if they give the name for the Crossword or Quiz they are doing.
