Think its...lives after them.
Pauline is thinking of the Shakespeare one: 'The evil that men do lives after them; the good is oft interred with their bones.' (Julius Caesar). I can't seem to find the Bible one I'm afraid.

The nearest I can get in the Bible is "but the evil which I would not, that I do" (Romans), from the Oxford Dictionary of Quotations.
