Charity Quiz question:

What is the number of wild and domesticated cats?

All the other questions in this quiz have been reasonably straightforward general knowledge questions but I don't understand this one? Am I missing something?

I think that the answer is 37 species of wild cat which have given rise to more than 250 breeds of domestic cat, but as you say, the wording is ambiguous and I presume even cat experts might argue about it...hope you find a more solid reply...good luck!
