How long can you lengthen a measuring tape to until it snaps? I got a 5 metre mesuring tape to 231cm.

Whats so good about that? 5 metres is 500 cm and you 'stretched' it to 232 cm ?!?!

I`ve got an elastic one and stretched it to 10.75 metres

I think 'thecoach' is talking about a steel measuring tape being extended horizontally until it finally snaps, and the tape falls to the ground.

The question has to be asked though- why??

Still, whatever floats your boat I suppose.
