I would like to thank everyone who has posted answers to Polymath 343. Normally I would have struggled on longer on my own, but this has been a very busy week and the deadline was looming (and I am going away this weekend). Not sure I would ever have got "Milton of Germany" though, however long I struggled!!

I don't know who "Gozo" is but if I ever meet him or her I will shake him/her warmly by the neck!! :-)
