I reckon I am going to have to do what I normally do and that is to guess the answer like everybody else, but I thought I would give it a try nevertheless. I suggested that everybody should write to pick me up and try to get this changed, as it has been almost impossible to find the answers since they asked about it being on ebay. Here goes nevertheless. how much was paid for a Selmer Paris Mark Six Saxaphone?
No best answer has yet been selected by stanbesida. Once a best answer has been selected, it will be shown here.
For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.You are not really expected to 'find the answer' - you are expected to use your skill, knowledge and judgement to work out the value.
If it's easy to find then there are far too many correct answers and being the winner becomes a lottery rather than a game of skill.
That's the theory anyway. In reality eceryone guesses and it's still a lottery,
Hi, i won a 25 prize in february on this by guessing you have a 1 in 4 chance just put one of the answers you have nothing to loose. You have to be picked out first which is a lottery in itself never mind getting it right! As dzug says if the answer was easy to find there would be all right answers. Go on have a guess

I'm not disputing that the research you used to have to do to establish the answer was skilful - what I'm trying to say is that maybe it's no longer the skill that the competition organisers are trying to reward. Indeed it may never have been - maybe they underestimated the extent of research skills in their potential entrants and made it too easy when they started.
If you don't have that skill - of being able to estimate prices (and I certainly don't) - then yes, it's guesswork. Even if you do, there's probably an element of guesswork in there.
