x and y: 1/x - 1/y = 1/3, 1/x2 + 1/y2 = 5/9

x = 2/3 y = 1/3 eg 2/3 - 1/3 is 1/3
Actually not right! x=3/2 and y=3. This means that 1/x is 2/3 and 1/y is 1/3, making the first equation right, and 1/x2 is 4/9 and 1/y2 is 1/9, making the second!.
