e,g,e,g,e....? has me stumped! My only lead is notes or chords of a song, but that's too open-ended. Please post the answer here if you get it independenty of this site (but I have faith in the answer-bankers).
Incidentally, I googled "rs,os,cc,bs,lss,c,pl,st" (incl the quotation marks for no. 2 and +tcom +quiz +tlf +er for no. 3.
Hi Pquinlan
I googled the monopoly one almost same as you did but no go. The other one I didnt put + between the sequences. The monopoly one was obvious once I was told the answer!
Still got plenty time before I have to submit the answers. If I get an aswer on the other I will let you know. I though about musical sequences but no go. As I said I got seven of them but those just stumped me. Take care and thanks again Al
Bearing in mind your first answers were posted on the 15th you must have lost alot of sleep over this one. I reckon this answer is what I will go with. Dont know when I will get the answers but watch for a post headed Pquinlan so I can let you know if you were right.
Incidentally I spent some time looking at Terry Pratchett and I agree with you only I cant work out whether the missing letter is S for Sorcery or P for Pyramids.
I really appreciate the time you have spent and hope I can do the same for you someday.
For an Irishman you know more about English history than I do lol. Thanks and take care Rgds Al
I see your trouble with Pratchett. I looked up discworld on wikipedia and it shows Sorcery before Wyrd Sisters and Pyramids after it, so it's hard to know. Did they omit Sorcery or get the order wrong? I reckon it's a genuine mistake on quizmaker's part and you might get away with a note about the situation.
With ref to the monarchs, how about working back from QE2 and not forward as you suggested because Charles is not on the throne at the moment. They asked another question which actually worked backwards. So I will do that, but I would never have thought of monarchs as an answer.
You must have been on the Guiness when you had that inspiration Lol take care Al
