Help please as I have just realised that I am one answer missing on my answer sheet,which goes in tonight!!!
Q65 Ladies,you may think that giving birth is a painbut spare a thought for this creature which may have 40,000,000 offspring,giving birth (eggs ) incessantly at the rate of one per second for more than 25 years.Which specific creature?

I guessed a queen termite and found a site that says one can live 15 years and lay 1000 eggs/day, which makes about 5.5 million. Closest I can find!

Thank you both for your replies.I checked out termites and found an article which said that one type of termite queen could lay 86000 eggs a day( which is one per second) and can live for 30 years.so that'll do for me Tommy
