I've only discovered the Answerbank recently and hope I will be able to contribute sometimes.
Having been a crossword addict for years (and only won a prize once - Radio Times crossword) I would like to ask someone in the know if altered or "tippexed" entries
are discounted or do they ever come up winners?

Welcome aboard the answersbank ,I use a thin strip of Mircopore plaster tape to cover up my errors, but don't send them in, but I sure if your answers are still clear while using Tipex carry on, my tipex was always lumpy didn't dry smooth.

Thanks for your message. I try to use pencil first but invariably can't find one at the right moment. Good tip of yours.... and yes tipex does get cloggy and the "Magic pen" I sometimes use comes out in fits and starts. But all part of a crossworder's day. Nice to communicate with fellow addicts. I'm going to enjoy this site!

Where do you go on the site to find it without having to scroll down 100000's of answers. would be glad of any help please.
