I have an obvious answer "S" but is this a trick question? I also notice it doesn't say his name, just this name. Paranoia sets in about this time.

- like you I have this answer as (a) he is a Germanic hero and (b) it is a name of fortifications - still can't see what I'm missing :-)) Im prone to paranoia on Quizmail, but not on this one (famous last words)

Thanks you two for answering. I'm on the list Alun, just thought I would throw it out here in case there was a WWII expert on fortifications. I can not find anything else that qualifies in any country. I figured it didn't have to be in Germany. But nada.
