The northern & southern lights are caused by intertaction between charged particles from the Sun (the solar wind) and the earths magnetic field

Sorry if I misled you Philcoa. Never heard of Iceblink but you learn all the time on AV. However if you have time it is worth looking at those photos. I would love to see them in real life.
