but I need to know what language are they.

Actually it's ..W�nschen, Sie waren hier.....not a common German phrase ....if they wanted to say... I wish you were here they would phrase it ......Ich wunsche da� Sie hier waren.

Well..as a native German speaker ....I would hardly say,, Ich wunsch da� du heir ..That just translates as.. I wish that you here.
Germans speak back to front ..I wish you were here ..translated word for word Ich wunsch da� du hier bi�t ..would be
I wish that you here are !!
You can of course ,also say.. Ich wunsch da� du hier war.!
