Ternigapp, I thought the clue was 'scratched the wing' and hawthorn is prickly as well as having 'thorn' in it. How did you get plantain?

Oh dear, it doesn't make sense now but it did at the time if you know what I mean!
I took this one on holiday and originally read it as:
Anna had also driven close to some PLANTAIN (Plant and) and scratched the wing.
