Got all of top right except 8 across. What do you need help with. I am struggling with bottom half

Embarrassingly - I'm missing 5, 6, 9 down, 8, 12, 17 across.

All the rest done though ... we should compare notes again!

I have GOINGS ON for 5d, PATNA RICE (anagram) fir 6D and HOOP for 9d stuck on the others also plus all the bottom half except for 19d, 26d, 24d and 27 a/. I am thoroughly 19d of myself

Got a few more since last posting. I agree, it should be goings in to fit with entrances but goings on fits with various activities. Typical Sunday "c**k up" if you ask me.

I still need 3d, 12a, 20a, 22a, 25a, 14d,16d,23d.

Mmm, not a particularly good clue. I can't say I find the Sunday cryptic particularly good - some of the clues are reather contrived and there isn't that "good" feeling when you have got some of them.
