competitions in magazines

Ok am i being silly or?? Mum used to buy take a break magazine and i helped her with some of the puzzles etc. Now i buy Take a break and full house magazine and do them, myself. Are they really for women or will they let a man win a prize?!

It keeps my mind active doing the puzzles thats for sure!

ok so yes i do see men in the previous winners list. I am sure many take part but i think there maybe more chance of wining a bit from these magazines than on the lotto?!

Anyway tis good to do the comp's and any win is a bonus!

they're definitely for men as well! i gave the answer to a particular puzzle once to a chap who did them regular and he won the flippin' big prize in take a break, tight s*d never even said thanks or bought me a bar of chocolate (and he owned a paper shop at the time so never used to buy the mag, only ripped out the entry coupon at the back on the ones he didn't sell before sending them back!) .

hi clare, i never went back in the shop after that & last i heard it had closed down, some new people have it now and its some sort of fruit & veggie shop. been quite nice here today with not much rain, by the way, have done forwards puzzle in issue 102 already! (won't tell you answer yet as i know you like to do it yourself & it's ages yet to send it in :-)

Hi Allotment 10, I have not looked at it yet (did photo-
copy it and a few of the others) am going to have an
early night and take a look at the others, I leave forwards
to the last so I'm not distracted, I shall get in touch
if I am stuck.

Also though now have found a site for competition answers feel rather guilty looking them up!
