Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

I know some of these have been asked before but having problems with search the site as I think they have been posted under different headings and I can't find them
4. A cotton spinning machine
8. A device attatched to a wheel of a coach to slow its speed when going down hill Shoe ?
14. A violent blow especially with the fist Sock ?

I can't add to Al's posting but I came onto the site to look for one of your questions, earthakitten, as I've got a question about 'your' Samaritans Dingbats quiz..

It looks as if this one is part of a series of quizzes. Could I enclose �1.00 and a SAE for the next quiz with my returned entry for the current one? It doesn't matter if the next one isn't being done straight away. Thanks.

Yes it is a regular quiz but here is where the problem starts !!! I have now been informed that in future I cannot distribute the quizzes outside the Kettering district! Apparently each office is very, shall we say, protective of money generated for their own area. They class it as poaching possible funds from their area !!!!
I think they hope that anyone living in ...Derby... will give to Derby Sams. Seems a bit shortsighted to me but they are the unspoken rules. Don't worry about this quiz, everything is OK but it looks like it will be the last Samaritans one. I do get to hear of some locally so I will try to post them on here. xx

Thanks, earthakitten. It 's a shame because I enjoyed this one and it's a charity I'm always happy to give money to - wherever the particular office is sited. So thanks for sharing this one anyway.
