Evening Liz, just received the answers back. Whilst I never expected I'd win I am shocked at some of my 'wrong' answers. Since when hasn't Donald Duck (DD) been a cartoon character. When did Edward Elgar (EE) cease to be a composer . News to me that the Likely Lads were Liverpudlian !!!!! How did you do ? xx

Hi earthakitten. I only got 94 out of 115, how many did you get? I too, put Edward Elgar and Blood Brothers. A lot of the questions could have had multiple answers. Better luck next time!! xx

Evening Liz ... 96 (but at least nine wrong ones that fit the clues perfectly !!!!) You are taking defeat a lot more calmly than me, I think lol
I think it's expected these days to check all answers even if they were'nt what you were expecting. I think I'll give the next one from that source a miss. All it's done is get my hackles up.
One good thing ... All for a good cause.
Back to the Holly Hedge Logo one, at least there can only be one answer to each logo ... or maybe not !!! xx

earthakitten, I can't believe that you don't want the next quiz when all the answers are Lincolnshire dialect words!

I've already found out the word for a sheep that's turned over on its back and can't get up. OK, it probably won't be something I'll come across every day as I live in a city but you never know . . .

I only got an official 92 correct so you both did better than me. I'm just looking on these quizzes as a bit of entertainment and not worrying whether I guess the official answer or not. Logos I wouldn't even try to do, so good luck with yours earthakitten.

Hi earthakitten I think I'll give it a miss as well. I don't know much about local dialects even though I live in Lancashire. I'm not from round here originally so wouldn't have a clue. I haven't got the logo one but it sounds quite difficult! Good luck with it!
Please can you tell me what lol means as a lot of people on this site use it but I don't have a clue what it means. xx

Hi julifer ... I'm now feeling a bit guilty about not having the next one,I just seem to get a little peeved when I know I have a valid answer ... Silly little kitten !!! Do you think the next one is do-able even if you are not local ? It does seem a bit unfair not to have it as that would be the first one I have not sent for from AB. I think I'll go and check the stamp situation.
Came across a good quiz today. If you don't use the net to begin with it is irritatingly good. Will ask if I can put it up on AB. xx

hi got mine the other day managed to get 98 right, bit disapointed in some of the answers
my sister came third with 100 right and 8 stars
not very keen on the latest even though i come from lincolnshire but going to have a go

No need to feel guilty as you obviously give a lot of time to working for charities, as well as contributing by buying lots of quizzes.

Unless you know the Lincolnshire dialect or can get access to books about it, this one will be impossible. I thought I'd give it a try but I've found everything I'm likely to find on the Internet and have the grand total of 15 answers -though theyr'e not necessarily all correct. I'm just hoping they'll give a booby prize!

Got mine back and got 95.
Was so annoyed with some of the ones he marked wrong that I have written Mr Lyall a letter.Nothing nasty but stating that there is more then one answer to some of the questions, and that he should give some leeway on these.
Totally giving the Lincolnshire dialect one a miss.
