52a Arab kingdom on the Red Sea (6) I have -O-D-N Having lived in Addis Ababa for a year and thought I had visited all Red Sea territories it is with embarrassment I seek help on this one.

Many thanks sjs. I think you are right, but Jordan hardly qualfies as being "on the Red Sea". It only has one port "Al Aqaba" which is on the Gulf of Aqaba, which, itself, leads on to the Red Sea. Your help is much appreciated.

Agree with you kenabraham. We were puzzled, but thought that it had to be Jordan that they wanted. Telegraph do this a lot with their crosswords.
