kayakamina, i must have eaten hundreds of curries but this is a new one on me. thank you.

its the runny yogurt sauce with either chopped cucumber or mint or both in it, that you eat with the curry to cool down the palate.
prbably not a very good description but best I can do.

dee sa, i like my curries hot so i've never ordered anything to cool the palate. thus, raita has escaped me over the years.
