Which three numbers come next in this sequence
2 - 4 - 6 ?
The obvious answer is 8 - 10 - 12
But I think it a catch question
Could the answer be
2+4=6
4+6=10
6+ 10=16
10+16=26

I think the initial sequence would need to be longer i.e.
2-4-6-10 for the answer to be as your alternative.

Could be a pack of playing cards
So the answer would be 8 - 10 - Queen
Question Author
The answer was 30 32 34
Oh yes? And how were those numbers the answer? An explanation would be good - thanks.

Sorry goldenfield, it seems the numbers,30 32 34, were the next three after the number 6 which when they were spelt, did not contain the letter E
Thankyou. Nothing to be sorry about - I was just interested in how that answer came about. As you said originally, bit of a catch question in that there could be more than one answer but quite clever nonetheless.
