Quizstruck, I was so surprised to read that google was no help in finding the answer to your query that I tried it myself.
I typed in mandelay and home ( just those 2 words ) and the answer you needed came up as the 9th entry on the first page! See for yourself!

The correct spelling is Manderley

Thanks kettledrum. It's surprising how much difference one word in the search makes. I'd tried the full sentence and a couple of combinations but not that but had to go to the hospital visiting in the end so gave up reading as all I was getting was man pills and did I mean Mandeley! (which was also no help).

Are you honestly saying that this quizmaster/compiler has spelled the name of the name of the house in Rebecca Mandelay? kempie is, of course, with the spelling Manderley so if has been spelled an other way it is wrong.
