sided.
nautically speaking, timber dimensions are either sided or moulded as opposed to length, width, depth etc. to prevent any confusion . non-nautical terms can be ambiguous when used in a nautical context.

Thanks, kettledrum. Sided was the only word I could think of, but it wasn't in the dictionaries I consulted - too specialised a term, I suppose!
