Anybody got any ideas on this one. Answers something to do with University. Geeky 60's comedy vocal band? I originally thought of The Ivy League, but they are neither geeky or comedy I would've thought. Still haven't sussed this one-Where 10 may have been active??

I found this description on Google - so I think your original thought was right.

The Ivy League

60's Comedy/Vocal Band from the UK. Their unique falsetto vocal sound, blended with superb harmonies reproduce their hits: 'Tossing and Turning', 'Funny How Love Can Be', and 'Thats Why Im Crying'.

Thanks ageing fast. I wouldn' t have said they were geeky, but hey, maybe they are by todays standards, lol. Thanks.
They look fairly geeky to me

................And I remember the Sixties!!
The geeky types whose records were always played at uni in my aunt's day were the Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band.
PS I think they met at college, as well
Stick with The Ivy League Bugs..it has a university connection.
Harvard, Yale and Princeton are all Ivy League unis in America amongst others...and believe me the group were geeky !
I have seen them live (giving my age away here) and they were laughable ....ti*ing around with their squeaky voices ,immaculate suits and lacquered hair.
The Strolling Bones were more my cup of tea!
re. second one, what is the 10th. clue / answer ?
I've got PROFESSOR for the answer to number 10 and have been trying to think how it could fit in with where 10 may have been active, unless it is UNIVERSITY, but don't think so. I'm stuck on 27. Inherent power of mind or body and 16. Run a meeting
bookwormer,
27 = Faculty
16 = Chair
Many thanks gen2

Thanks everybody. Ivy League it is.
As for "where 10 may have been active"? I think it may refer to question 10's answer?? Which I have got Victoria.
Q10 I have got PROFESSOR as in Professor Plum in Cleudo and someone suggested on another post that Q19 Where 10 may have been active could be the LIBRARY as in Cleudo, which I feel could be the answer, as all universities have libraries and it is the only room in Cleudo which could fit!
