I am glad to see that most people are ignoring the subdivisions of this section. As one who answers many more questions than I ask, it is far easier to refresh one screen than to refresh 4 of them, particularly as I am still on dial-up (but I may treat myself to broadband for Christmas). I think people will get answers quicker this way. What do others think? (I have to ask a question to stay within the site rules.)
It's ridiculous ...it may work in Chatte.....Body and Soul and one or two other categories but not here.
It's nice to see sections for Hobbies and Geneaology but these could have been a separate topic not stuck as a sub heading.
I am fed up with dodging between anagrams and crosswords already and have resorted to a large malt !!
The only thing they could have done in this topic to improve it that may have worked was just to title it Crosswords with a sub heading for Postal Quizzes .
Slainte gen2 !
I would be interested to hear any explanation from "0n high" as to the reason for these ( for me) pointless sub-divisions.
I really can't see how it will be an improvement on the present configuration.
PS- For gen2. Thats what I think.
I have to endorse the views expounded by gen2 and all of the other comments from ABers.
Have just returned from a (not very successful) day at the races, and to be confronted by a revised format was just one downward step too far. A large 'single malt' may well be the best course of action at this stage!!!
Have just done a check on other sites , and every site now has at least 2 or more sub-divisions , apart from Adverts & How it works !!! ( their turn tomorrow )
What is going on !!!!
To join in this merry throng a with a Bordeaux cheers, as for this divisions the only way it won't work is not answer or use crossw0rds or anagrams and leave the riddles to the fiddlers and stick to this site of Q & P
Yes I agree Bordeaux...joking apart..hic...I will only be submitting any questions on the main section, and will stick to watching that section to answer also if I can. It's just getting too much! takes the enjoyment and camaraderie out of it.
