I can get the second word of 16, but the only thing I can think of for the first doesn't seem to have much to do with strike - back or otherwise.
I shall struggle on.
Clue 16:
First word is made up of a 3 leter word for 'strike' (also the name of a male sheep!)
then you are looking ofr a 3 letter word for policeman .... of which the first two letters form the end of the first word; the third letter is the starting letter for the second word.
so you are into the second word . ... and you have the first letter .... the second letter is first (letter of the word) Offence ... now for the last two letters = half (of the word ) LOst
You should end up with the name of a famous traveller to China etc who lived 1254 to 1324!!

Clue 92:
The whole answer is a probably Lincolnshire's most famous landmark .... tallest parish church tower in England. These two words would also be descriptive of a dance. (e.g Viennese waltz)

The first word is a name for a waltz .... the main city in Massuchusetts and know for its Tea Party that ignited the American War of Independence!

The second word is the a word for a wooden leg ... not Peg!
This word is often used to describe the remnants of a cut-down tree that sticks up out of the ground!

The second word of 5 letters is a word for a wood en leg .... no, it is not peg BUT another word .... this word is more usually used to describe
