No information today from anyone! Help, please, with 1d "Hole with the Mint". I have l-a-t-i-a-t, but am aware that my 18a Bernese Alps stretch of water may be wrong. Also what kind of vote is 6d? Thanks in advance!

"The hole with the mint" is a local name for Llantrisant, which is where the Royal Mint is now. Apparently 6d. is Donkey vote (don't know why, my husband found that one).
