Certainly was a stinker to match this week ( zero points for me ! ) . Many thanks are in order to both crofter and ShamrockBlue for organising this competition and for taking the time and effort to check all the answers . Well done you guys . Thanks.

Thanks for all of your efforts crofter (and of course ShamrockBlue). The prediction of four correct links could turn out to be more elusive than winning the lottery.

In many ways the longer this situation continues the more interesting it will become, and if and when achieved, the winner will long be remembered in the answerbank "Hall of Fame"!!??

For myself I certainly "could do better" as I have yet to provide a correct link since the inception of our not so little diversion. (S).

My one regret since getting involved in this challenging bit of harmless fun is that ShamrockBlue himself doesn't enter the competition!

I did have a go one week crofter , when sarumite was kind enough to take over the reins................. I can't recall now if I scored one right or zero !

I think that ShamrockBlue considers it to be inappropriate to lodge an entry whilst organising the competition.
However, I feel certain we would all welcome his participation ......... unless of course he pips me to the post!!!

Well I too have joined the ranks of the virgin scorers. A bit fat zero, I obviously didn't think laterally enough. Perhaps MM has cottoned on to our little diversion and is being clever with us!

pauline , Well, I would claim that I was thinking about giving you a point, but then ...

Tenter Don't forget that these link words should present a bit of a problem pairing off even when all eight words are known. They should not always be thought of as being predictable!

Having said that - this week's was a real stinker!
