Not a question I know, but I have answered 6 questions this morning and nobody has replied to say the answer iI gave was right or it helped them with others or rated the answer. Are abers loosing the will to say Thank-you?

I don't ask very many questions but when I do it tends to be just before I go out, hoping that the elusive answer will be there when I return. I wonder if other ABers pose a question before going to work - or whatever - and look for answers on their return home.
hi, samurite
I have had a morning off work and have answered more than normal, and quickly too. So as pea Pod says at least one star would let you know it had been read. It is realy rude not to reply and thank when people give up time to search google or other places for them. Places they could search themselves if they could be bothered
right glad to get that off my chest. i'm off to the hairdressers for some R&R

Don't get me started on this one--I started not answering those people who never reply and the list got so long, I decided to "get a life" and answer regardless.
It's a shame that good manners aren't important to some people these days, but then again, perhaps we expect too much, after all, it does take ages to say Ta,doesn't it ?!!

Thanks for the replys, Yes hairdresser restored my faith in human nature and I look less of a witch now! I do try to remember some names who never thank and not reply to them but some you just see the question and put in the answer and as said before a click on the rate this answer button takes only a second, it's not much to ask
thanks again

Manners do not seem to be required any more. The "Trick or Treaters" will come to the door tonight and we will have candies ready to hand out and I will tell you now that only one child in 20 will say "Thank You." Of course, they are only children who have been given no guidelines by their parents so perhaps they can be forgiven.
Abers should know better.

I agree ontarioice I think I noticed it more today as I had the day off so answered 6 questions in a short time, normally I answer odd ones as and when I can so if they do not reply it does not seem as bad but this morning just got mty goat.
Have a good Halloween all, we are off to my sons to trick or treat the grandchildren, before they do it to us!

I hope I have always thanked anyone who has helped me, but I must say as I use the computer at work, I usually only visit the site once a day (maybe twice when I'm doing a 12 hour shift!) so a Thanks may be a few hours coming! but I think I alwasys remember as I am usually so grateful for someone preventing the grey cells exploding!
